Nodaway Valley Retrievers\Facilities

We bought our acreage, located in the Nodaway River valley area, in early 2007 solely for the purpose of training retrievers. It has 46 acres of gently rolling hills and 7 acres of water. The water has many areas that we have set-up for technical procedures. We will have a new swim-by technical pond built by Spring 2008. We have also been granted use of hundreds of other acres near our home to give our retrievers new terrain and different technical set-ups.

Our kennels were built and installed by Pro Built fence and kennel co. In order, to keep our dogs healthier and houses cleaner we had the houses cantilevered up off the ground. We already have plans to build another new kennel building for additional kennels. Our goal is to keep all dogs in indoor kennels to protect them from the weather. We take pride in have clean, sanitary kennels.
